Newcomb Camp-Out

It was the annual Newcomb Camp-Out. This year we went to Skyline Mountain Resort in Fairview, Utah. We were so excited to finally have a little break. We got to stay in cabins with a kitchen, shower and real beds. We shared a cabin with Lindy's family. The Emmalee, Lizzy & Hayden had fun being cabin buddies.
While we were there we went golfing, swimming, and a little 4-wheeling. The weather was perfect. At night we sat around the fire and cooked s'mores. It was so nice to get away and spend some time with each other.

Walphin

Hayden just got back from Kauai and Oahu last Thursday. She had such a good time with Britany, Halli, Harmony, Devyn, Steve, Nanna, Ted & Cannon. I told her this was the last time she is going by herself without us.
Here are some events she did while she was there:
Kayaked by herself in Hanalei Bay.
Went to glass beach and found some treasures from the Heeli the Mermaid
Went to the Dole Pineapple Plantation
Went to Pearl Harbor
Went to the Polynesian Cultural Center
Went to The Sea Life Park to swim with the dolphins
Saw a magic show on the strip in Honolulu.

This is Hayden swimming with the dolphins. This is actually a Walphin. Its a combination of a whale and a dolphin, it is the only one that they know of.



This Walphin, as you can see, is just a little bit bigger than a dolphin.

What have we been up to?

It has been a while since I have posted anything. We have had a busy month.
First Harmony, Steve & Devyn brought Hayden back from Kauai. They got to stay a few days and it was so great to see them and to see how much Devyn has grown.
They came for Cache's Blessing.
Cache was so cute in his little white tuxedo. Many friends and family came for the lunch after the blessing.
Hayden has been in gymnastics this whole school year and she finally passed off all of her skills and now gets to move to level 3. She has done a great job and is very strong. She has decided to take Hip Hop this summer and then resume gymnastics in the fall.
Hayden's 2nd grade class had a performance that we went and watched. She was on the front row and did very well at singing and dancing.
Three days after school got out Hayden got to fly back to Kauai with my parents and Cannon. While she is there she is going to Halli's graduation and is getting a special surprise from Aunt Britany, She and Halli get to swim with the dolphins in Honolulu. We will let you know how that goes.
