the day worth waiting for

Here are just a few pictures I am posting. My mom has all the good ones on her camera and I am hoping to get her pictures soon. What a wonderful day. We are so happy that its finally over with, if you know what I mean.
It took a while for us to get all of our paper work done for the sealing, but nothing was going to stop us.
We are thankful to our families for the love and support they have given us. Especially my mother who arranged almost everything, from the pictures and the invitations to the wonderful cheesecakes. She always thinks of all the details. I don't know what we would have done without her.
I can't describe my feelings, in writing, about our beautiful day and my wonderful companion for eternity. I am giving credit to the angel up above for helping us find each other.

It's finally almost here. I can't believe it's just one week away. Thanks to my mother for making these cute invitations. These things make me nervous, I want everything to be perfect.

Way to go Hayden!

Today I went to Hayden's parent teacher conference. Hayden has always been a great student, but I was very surprised about how great she has been doing. Hayden is self-motivated and gets her homework done usually before I get home from work. I never have to nag her to get it done and she never needs my help. She challenges herself and is always trying to do better. I couldn't ask for a better kid. Hayden has also had the best teachers.

So Hayden's teacher reported to me that:
  • Hayden scored in the top 10% in the NATION on the Iowa test in the science division and received an award from the State of Utah

  • Hayden scored in the 10th grade level in her vocabulary.....10th grade

  • Hayden is a on a 5th grade reading level and can read 141 words a minute and the requirement is only 72 words a minute
  • She is on a 4th grade spelling level
  • She has not been tardy or absent one day this year
    I was amazed!

Way to go Hayden, we are so proud of your hard work!

"No Line on the Horizon"

So Bono, Larry, The Edge & Adam have done it again. Yesterday, U2 released their 12th album, "No Line on the Horizon," and supposedly their best album since "Achtung Baby" (which happens to be my favorite) I don't have it yet, but I hope to by this weekend.
I really love all their albums and have thought the last 2 have been pretty dang good.
March 9th they are suppose to be announcing their upcoming tour, which is going to be another stadium tour. They haven't done a stadium tour since their 1997 Zooropa Tour, which I attended at what was then Rice Stadium. Do you remember when they changed the "U" on the mountain to "U2"?
Here I attached their new video to the 1st single off the new album "Get Your Boots On." Its too new for me to embed it.

So any of you that want to go with me to the concert, you better let me know, tickets sell out in minutes.
