Friday, I was able to take Hayden and her good friend Kirsten up to Beaver. We had a lot of fun despite the coldness.
I think it was the coldest temperature I have ever skied in.
Hayden and Kirsten are great skiers.
Saturday, New Year's Day, my family wanted to continue our tradition of going to Lava. Last year was our first time, so this year it was our "2nd Annual New Year's Day Lava Trip." First we ate at the River Walk Thai restaurant.
It was quite cold, as was the whole weekend. I really didn't know if I would be able to walk from the dressing room to the pool in just a swimming suit.
But then sticking my feet in the water, I didn't know how I could get in the water either, it was on fire.
So, it was either freeze to death or burn up. We decided to burn and it was worth it.
Our hairs froze. Here is my crusty-crust hair with Harmony being the photo bomber,(she is good at it, she might want to do it for a living.)
All the kids enjoyed themselves, and they all decided it would be "cool" to go roll in the snow and then jump in the water. They're nuts.

oh that was so fun! i like the snowboarding pics too.
I love that your hair froze! Sounds/looks like fun :) I also think we need to go snowboarding again, although I should probably get better before we go. Josh is getting a new snow board so i'm sure he'll be wanting to try it out as soon as possible
I definitely want to go on a Lava trip someday! It looks so relaxing and fun. I'm jealous ;)
